Kiwanis Club of the Foothills supports Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute (KPTI) in conjunction with The Children’s Hospital in Denver. They work on injury prevention projects, pediatric trauma research, and regional education for health professionals. They also buy rehabilitation playground equipment for children at Boulder’s Mapleton Pediatric Rehabilitation Center.

Eldora Special Recreation Program (ESRP) facilitates opportunities for disabled individuals to experience the incredible world of winter recreation that will foster independence through the acquisition of lifetime skills. Flatirons Imports donates money.

Boulder High School & Fairview High School hold an annual After Prom Party. It's a safe, fun filled alternative to all-night-partying for teens following Junior/Senior Proms. Flatirons provides a car for a raffle. The drawing is the last one of the night and the hope is that teens stay for the chance to win the car and avoid dangerous situations like drinking and driving.

Denver Round Table is a chapter of Round Table International who chose Friends Children’s Hospital HSP to be the benefactor of their golf tournaments and auctions. The Children’s Hospital HSP began in 1968 with a downhill ski program for children from an Amputee Clinic. A similar program for children with neurological impairments started in 1974. The two ski programs merged in the early 1980’s and continues to be the largest of the HSP endeavors. Other programs include, but are not limited to camping, archery and river rafting.
