Subaru Forester - Safety
Standard equipment includes a 6.5-inch infotainment touch screen, a rearview camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assist and forward collision warning with automatic braking. Blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning and evasive steering assist are standards with the Sport and up. The Touring adds integrated navigation and driver attention warning.
Subaru Forester - Mechanical
Keyless access with push-button start is included beyond the base trim. With the Sport and up, transmission paddle shifters are standard. All models beyond the base trim also include hill descent control and the X-MODE drive mode select system. A Class II hitch receiver is optional with all trims. That upgrade allows most Forester trim levels to tow up to 1,500 pounds and the Wilderness to tow as much as 3,000 pounds.
